Summer Fun With Amy and Julia

Get to know your agents! Just for fun! How would YOU answer these questions? Happy Summer! 🙂

Favorite Summer Pastime in Rochester:

AMY:  I love attending the Corn Hill & Park Ave Festivals with my family! Great food, music & artisans!

JULIA: As a kid I always looked forward to going to Seabreeze for an “end of year treat” with my classmates. As I got older, and pre-kids, I used to wake up early on the weekends and bike downtown (from Pittsford) with my parents and have coffee and scones at Java Joe’s.  Now that I have two little ones it’s a struggle to make it out of the house super early, and unfortunately my daughter’s training wheels don’t do well in distances.

Favorite Design Trend:

AMY: I love the farmhouse trends – subway tile, vintage pieces mixed with newer ones, wood-look tile, and butcher block countertops!

JULIA: White on white, or cream on white.  The brighter the better!

Something On Your Summer Bucket List:

AMY: I love to go berry picking with my Mom and kids…I don’t make the jam afterward but they do!

JULIA: It might sound funny, but my husband and I are itching to go to the Renaissance Festival!  Neither of us have been since we were little, and we really want to take our kiddos.

 Last Concert You Attended:

AMY:  CMAC is my “go-to” for summer concerts! Last year we saw the Brett Eldridge & Dave Matthews shows.

JULIA: My second love, Justin Timberlake.

Favorite Summer Meal / Restaurant:

AMY: Tony D’s overlooking the Genesee River! You can’t go wrong with their wood-fired wings…yum!

JULIA:  Fried Green Tomatoes & Champagne at Label 7!

Fun Place To Take Out-of-town Guests In Summer:

AMY:  Schoen Place/Pittsford Village – love to grab an ice cream at Pittsford Dairy and stroll the shops and canal path around the Village

JULIA: I love to take them boating on Canandaigua Lake!  It is so beautiful there.

Last Series You Binge-Watched:

AMY: Big Little Lies on HBO

JULIA: I maybe have been a decade or two late but Gossip Girl–and I make no apologies for LOVING IT!
