I also vividly remember what it was like when I moved back to Rochester after being away for a few years! This great city of ours has something for everyone. WHAT TO DO?
CALL ME. If you are relocating to the area, call me and we can make a plan. It’s helpful for me to hear what your hopes and concerns are as we start this process.
RESEARCH. Start to read about the area. I can help with this! I have some great resources. Here’s a link from the University of Rochester website that will help provide a good starting point. Generally my clients are most interested in schools, healthcare, property values, safety, arts and local culture. But there are so many other pieces to relocation. Perhaps your child is very active in a sports group or club and you want to find something locally. I can help with all of this!
PLAN A VISIT. As I mentioned, Rochester really has something for everyone. Maybe you want a home with great schools and lots of land. Or, maybe you’d prefer to be near your work and not have to spend hours taking care of a yard. Do you want to be able to walk to a town/village? Do you like new-builds or historical treasures? Once you’ve identified your hopes we can make a plan. I always tailor my visits to the needs of my clients.
