It’s November! It’s Thanksgiving month! And it’s the perfect time to start our Year of Giving!
Julia and I feel so grateful to live and work in this community! We both have talked about wanting to be more involved in giving back. So enough talking and more DOING! 🙂
This month we are shopping and collecting items for the Blue Star Mothers Roc! This organization is a “Congressionally-chartered, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization formed for the purpose of supporting America’s military, veterans, and their families, and to foster patriotism.”
We would love to help them with their holiday care package drive! Below is a list of much needed items. Additionally, monetary donations are always welcome ($30 will send one package to a deployed troop member). If you’d like to help us, you can drop off items at our office – REMAX 10 Grove Street, Pittsford (behind the Delmonte)! We will be shopping ourselves for items to include in the care packages but the more response, the better!
We will take donations to them on 11/16 as they are pushing to get packages delivered for the holidays!
Thank you for joining us in our goal to give back! Let’s help make some AWESOME care packages for the people who deserve them the most! We are so indebted to the men and women who serve our country and for their families who sacrifice every day!
